An objective of the undergraduate business program is to prepare students for positions in commercial and not-for profit organizations by providing them the basic knowledge of how these organizations function and equipping them with the necessary competencies to work effectively. Our intention is to provide our students the opportunity to demonstrate:
- Leadership
- critical/creative thinking skills
- effective communication (written and oral)
- team effectiveness
- initiative and ability to managing change
In addition, graduates are required to demonstrate attainment of general knowledge outcomes and core values in:
- ethical practice and professional conduct
- use of contemporary technologies and embracing technological innovation
- global perspective
- lives of service to the community
- interconnected perspective integrating liberal arts with professional business education
A requirement of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree is an electronic Portfolio which, demonstrates the attainment of these critical competencies.
